Research areas: 
  • Food Sensory Science: including food sensory psychology, molecular and cellular biology of taste cell, and intelligent sensory technology. Now the main focus is on biological function of the taste receptors in small intestine
  • Protocell: aiming to establish a theoretical cell model which has the ability of self-generating and reproducing, to build the thermodynamics and kinetics of the minimal protocell and to understand the physical nature of cell life. 
  • Capable students from disciplines of physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology are welcome to join our team for above researches.
